Finches at Home has been breeding quality birds for 14 years.
I breed 4 different species; Zebra Finchs, Cockatiels, Bourkes and Javas.
My first birds were Zebra finches. It's amazing just how many mutations
there are of the zebras (44).
For the past 3 years I have been concentrating on breeding Black Cheeked
and Crested Zebras.
At 2-3 weeks old all my baby Cockatiels are closed banded and hand feed.
I have most mutations from normal Grey, Pied, Pearl, Whiteface, Cinnamon to Fallow,
Dominant Yellow Cheek and Pastelface and most combinations.
I now have Cobalt Blue Wildtype Bourke babies along with normals, Rosie, Pink, and
Cream.
Of the Java's, I have Normals, White, Saddle Back Pied, Fawn and Fawn Pied.
